We are The Edinburgh Academical Golf Club

Membership of The Edinburgh Academical Golf Club is open to former pupils of The Edinburgh Academy.

The club runs a large number of competitions each year which are played on an outstanding array of courses including Muirfield, Elie, Bruntsfield Links, Royal Burgess, Luffness New, Royal Cinque Ports, Royal St. George's, The Renaissance Club, St. George's Hill and Royal West Norfolk. Many of these club fixtures are internal competitions open to golfers of all ages and abilities and others are entered by EAGC selected teams including the prestigious Halford Hewitt Trophy, the Grafton Morrish, the Cyril Gray and The Queen Elizabeth Schools Trophy. The Halford Hewitt has been described as 'the greatest of all truly amateur tournaments'. The club also arranges social gatherings for its members, including an annual black tie dinner.

The committee is keen to increase the number of Academicals involved as members of the club, in Edinburgh, London and worldwide.
